A stead is a working place.

Land held, a shop kept, a position occupied. The word names where things get made rather than what gets made, which is the job The FoxStead does for the three businesses built in it.

Nobody wants to build it twice.

A district adopts a curriculum and the standards revise. A business pays for a website and the platform shifts underneath it. So people stop investing in anything good, expecting to pay for it again in three years and start from a blank page.

The FoxStead builds the other kind. The work is durable, and it is durable by being alterable. A client can reshape it themselves as the landscape moves and as they move with it, so there is no constant rebranding and no starting over.

Three businesses, one standard

Fox Curriculum designs curriculum, does instructional research, and consults on education. Fox Imprint brands and builds small businesses. Fox Findings makes prompt journals, printables, and handmade jewelry. They sell to different people and sound different from one another. What they share is the standard, and the workshop they came from.

The FoxStead sells nothing itself. Each business leads under its own name, and The FoxStead signs underneath.
